The Venetian Islands are a chain of islands in Biscayne Bay in the cities of Miami and Miami Beach near Miami Beach.
The islands that make up the Venetian Island community are (from west to east) Biscayne Island, San Marco Island, San Marino Island, Di Lido Island, Rivo Alto Island, and Belle Isle. There is also Flagler Monument Island, which remains uninhabited and is used as a picnic island, originally built in the 1920’s as a memorial to Henry Flagler, a railroad pioneer.
The Venetian Islands are connected by bridges which are favorite routes to jog, ride bikes, walk dogs and take a stroll, the islands offer the residents a suburb island lifestyle feeling, while being mere minutes from Miami, Miami Beach hotspots, South Beach and all that Greater Miami and South Florida has to offer.
