Coming SOON on the Ocean in South Beach - The NEW Shore Club Miami Beach condominium residences and hotel.

The legendary (opened 1938) Miami Beach Shore Club property, currently a 309-room hotel, directly on the ocean in South Beach, is preparing for its next life as a luxury condominium residence and hotel under the new ownership of renowned New York developer, HFZ Capital Group.

The nearly 3-acre South Beach, Miami Beach oceanfront destination, which boasts a long history of many celebrity-fueled sightings, poolfront parties and trendy restaurants, along with its famously photographed infinity pool, rooftop spa, and direct beach access, will soon be transformed into approximately 75 one, two and three-bedroom spacious and elegant condominium residences. With a newly re-invented and renovated stand-alone 5-star hotel, offering just 100 hotel rooms.

Many of the newly designed Shore Club Miami Beach condominium residences will feature very expansive outdoor living space and terraces. From the first look at the artist rendering, the majority of redesign is being done on the Center Tower. With only 43 residences offered in the 20-story tower, it appears that many floors will offer no more than 2 luxury residences per floor, with the possibility of a couple of full floor condominium residences and/or penthouse homes available. First renderings of the NEW Miami Beach Shore Club center tower show lots of glass, high ceilings and much more. The new larger outdoor living spaces and expansive terraces are very notable in the first artist renderings of the center tower.

The NEW Shore Club Miami Beach Details

  • North Tower: 8-stories with just 27 residences
  • Center Tower: 20-stories with just 43 residences
  • Bungalows (Approx. 5 units – 2 levels, with full kitchens and bathrooms – perfect Pied-a-terre )
  • South Tower: Hotel ONLY with 100 hotel rooms

Preconstruction pricing is starting at $1.6m to over $6m. With prices per square foot starting at just over $1,800 per square foot to $3,900 per square foot*.

HFZ launched sales for the "re-imagined" Miami Beach Shore Club Residences in early December during Art Basel in Miami Beach. The developer reported that 13 of the 75 planned condominium residences were reserved during that week. It certainly seems that this project will likely sell out quickly and, not unlike a number of other prime "boutique-styled" rebuilds and redesigns of existing hotels in South Beach, may very possibly sell out before (or shortly after) the actual ground breaking begins.

Beginning of the limited tear down and total rebuild of the 3 building property is planned for the summer of 2015. With completion of the construction and delivery of residences projected for the summer of 2017.
