It is that time of year again, when South Beach is buzzing with activity. Last weekend’s Boat Show brought many prominent figures to South Florida, investing in yachts and marine equipment, and this weekend the Food and Wine Festival commences. This annual event is a star-studded four day event taking place at venues across Miami Beach and is hosted this year by Southern Wine and Spirits of Florida and Florida International University’s FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. In the past 11 years since its’ inception, the festival has raised over $14million for this School. There are dozens of events each day including lifestyle lectures, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, and much more. My choices for this years events are listed below and if you would like the full list of events and to purchase tickets please visit, http://2012.sobefest.com/. Thursday, February 23, 2012: Moet Hennessy’s The Q Presented by Allen Brothers Steaks, Sponsored by Miami Magazine, and Hosted by Chefs Emeril Lagasse and Guy Fieri Delano Beachside, 1685 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach This is a new event replacing the BubbleQ Event from prior festivals and should certainly be one not to miss. This event showcases the best BBQ chefs in the country and is hosted by two of the most famous personalities in Television, Emeril Lagasse and Guy Fieri. The libations at this event are similarly decadent, with Moet and Chandon Champayne, Belvedere Vodka, Hennessy Privilege Cognac, Grand Marnier, and Terrazas de Los Andes vineyard wines. This is a great choice for those who love a good steak! Friday, February 24, 2012: Amstel Light Burger Bash Presented by Allen Brothers Steaks and Diet Pepsi, hosted by Rachel Ray Ritz-Carlton, 1 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach This is by far the favorite for a number of years running and it is also the event that sells out the fastest. The running champion of this epic burger competition has been Michael Symon, who has been the contestant to beat for the last two years. His victory last year was realized with a fried salami, provolone, shasha hot sauce, and pickled onion burger, and all are eager to see what he comes up with this year. This is the event to be seen at in South Beach. Saturday, February 25, 2012: Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village 13th Street and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach A main event in the Food and Wine Festival, the tasting village is comprised of Culinary Demonstrations from, Andrew Zimmern, Nadia G, Alex Guarnaschelli, The Neelys, Emeril Lagasse, Debi Mazar, Jamie Deen, Bethanny Frankel, Guy Fieri, Sunny Anderson, and Rachel Ray. Book signing is available from Andrew Zimmern, Nadia G., Jamie Deen, The Neelys, Rachel Ray, Emeril Lagasse, Aaron Sanchez, and Roger Mooking. Also, within the village is the American Express Pavilion, which houses all of the best restaurants in South Beach’s latest offerings, and the Winebow Wine Pavillion, offering wines from all over the world. This event provides the most variety of all of the combined events and is a full day affair beginning at 11am and running until 6pm. Sunday, February 26, 2012: Sunday Funday Pass 13th and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach and Ritz Carlton, 1 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach The Sunday Funday pass is new to the options for the Food and Wine Festival, since it contains a pass to the Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village, as well as admission to the Trucks on the Beach, Presented by Diet Pepsi and hosted by Andrew Zimmern. Linda G Properties Closes on an EXCLUSIVELY LISTED One Bal Harbour Luxury Penthouse

One Bal HarbourIt is with great pleasure that I announce a successful sale and closing of another Linda G Properties EXCLUSIVE Listing - The Rooftop Penthouse #1904 at One Bal Harbour.

I am delighted, and so are the owners, that we were able close this penthouse at such an amazing price of $2.4 million! As the listing agent, the negotiation process can be very strenuous, especially these past few years. Rest assured the luxury oceanfront real estate market has been / and is rebounding back! In my many years working with buyers, sellers and WCI, the developer of One Bal Harbour, I am confident that One Bal Harbour will always hold its value, and the recent sales statistics have shown that to be true!

This corner rooftop penthouse is one-of-a-kind with panoramic water views from every direction, offering a private roof top terrace with a large Jacuzzi. Floor to ceiling windows featuring the inlet, intracoastal and ocean views. This residence is impeccably designed with sophistication and style. The 1904 rooftop penthouse is a residence that has been rarely offered on the market. There are only two available in the building at One Bal Harbour.

It is evident from the shrinking inventory at One Bal Harbour, (at the time of this posting, there are only (12) luxury residences for sale), it is a once in a lifetime experience to live in such an impressive property. Enjoy resort living and access to opulent world-class resort amenities - Social room, cinema theater, Beachfront private residents infinity pool with 24 hour room service and casual and fine dining for the most discreet clientele. Indulge, dream, enjoy and savor your time here at One Bal Harbour.

Germany Based Porsche Design Group and local luxury developer Gil Dezer joined forces on the Porsche Design Tower in beautiful Sunny Isles. This $560 million dollar building will set a new standard for luxury condominiums in South Florida. The 57 floor tower will be erected on 2.2 acres of land at 18555 Collins and will house 132 units. The individual units will be between 3,800 to 9,500 square feet and range in price from just over $3 million and up to $10 million.

These palacial sky homes will feature up to a two car garage, which is on the same floor as your home. Additional indoor parking for a total of up to 4 spaces per unit are offered for the larger residences. Boasting incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and The Greater Miami Beach and Miami Skyline. There will be no other building of this kind on the ocean, anywhere else in the world!

One of the most revolutionary elements of this building, from an architectural standpoint, is the individual elevators whose robotic arm whisk you and your car up into one of the four large glass enclosed elevators. You will enjoy ocean views as you ascend in the glass enclosed elevator. Depending on your floor, the ride will take 45 to 90 second to arrive at your personal garage. You will be able to see your vehicle from your residence, celebrating the beauty of your vehicle. There are no other buildings in the world with this feature and the developers postulate that there will be many new buildings with this feature in the future. When asked about this project, developer Gil Dezer remarked, "We want to keep this really exclusive and not have this become a McDonald's kind of style. The tower is going to change the skyline of Miami Beach. This is something Floridians should be proud to have in their state."
